Pula and its beaches are some of the most popular in southern Sardinia: The scarcely populated coastal region between Capo Teulada and the popular bathing area of Santa Margherita di Pula captivate visitors with a range of bays. In the bay of Nora, you can even dive to Roman ruins.On particularly calm days, a keen eye might even be able to spot some of the underwater ruins from the shore. The further you walk along the beaches like Fox'e Sali, Cala Ostia and Spiaggia Campumatta towards Margherita di Pula, the brighter and finer the sand. Santa Margherita di Pula
One of the most popular beaches in southern Sardinia, renowned for its fine, light-coloured sand and flat shore, Santa Margherita di Pula is perfect for families with children, although sun worshippers and snorkellers will also feel at home on this turquoise beach that stretches for kilometres. A bar and various hire points keep boredom at bay.Bay of Nora
Nora is bordered by Spiaggia di Nora to the north and the bay of Porto d'Agumu to the south, less than two kilometres from the village of Pula. Emerald green, clear water and a shallow gradient also attract locals, even during high season, in addition to families with children wishing to enjoy a relaxed beach holiday. Nora
A sandy beach in the immediate vicinity of the Nora archaeological excavations, about 2 km away from Pula.
I Fichi
A long sandy beach that takes its name from the fig trees that grow over much of Sardinia (unfortunately not on this beach). From the Pula town centre, the beach can be reached by heading towards Nora and turning left at the last road junction, towards Cagliari. Immediately after having turned left, make a right into an unpaved road that leads you to the beach.
Su Guventeddu
A sandy beach directly adjacent to I Fichi beach. From the Pula town centre, it can be reached by heading towards Nora. After the junction, drive towards Cagliari some 700 metres and then turn right onto a dirt road that leads to the beach.
